Expounding. . . the way of God more perfectly. Acts 18: 26

“Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”  Revelation 19: 6

The word,  Alleluia, is an expression of joy.  I hope today and every day that the joy of these words will fill your hearts and minds.

“For the kingdom is the Lord’s:  and he is the governor among the nations.  Psalms 22: 28

Psalm 22: 28 says that “The kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.” It is good to remind ourselves that The Kingdom is the Lord’s and that Kingdom has no end, and there is none among men who is greater.  I hope you realize how blessed we are to know that Kingdom!

May the  joys of the resurrection of our Lord fill our  minds and drive out the fears and frustrations of the day before us.

“But I am poor and needy; yet, the Lord thinketh upon me. . . .”    Psalms 40: 17

How comforting to know that in whatever state we are, we are in the Lord’s thoughts.  How comforting that is to a a restless soul!

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24

No matter the  circumstance, this day and every day has been made by an all wise, sovereign God.  May we gladly rejoice in all His blessings knowing that all things are in His hands and are for the good to His people.  Let us, indeed, rejoice and give Him thanks and be glad in it, no matter what the day brings.  All His works are worthy of praise and worthy to be “glad in“.  Have a blessed day.

“But I trusted in thee, O Lord:  I said, Thou art my God.  My times are in thy hands . . . .”  Psalms 31: 14-15

How joyful to know that in trusting in the true and living God and proclaiming Him as our God, that we can take comfort in knowing that our times are, indeed, in His hands.  That includes all our times and all our needs of each and every day.  Truly, in Him we can safely trust.
